In his late 50s, Florin Soare lives in social housing with his wife and little dog. Usually, Florin would be out and about, traversing the entire city to go to and from his job at a social enterprise for people with disabilities. However, as he wrote in a letter about his worries, during the pandemic he was forced to take unpaid holidays. This deeply impacted Florin’s life and health: recounting the challenges he and his wife faced in recent years, he included a receipt for his diabetes medication. Like so many others, instead of going out to socialise, Florin now spent most of his time inside his flat, with his family and pets. Amid both major and minor frustrations, however, he was able to make space for some humour: when asked about the sounds he likes, Florin included a picture of his little dog. Then, to illustrate the sounds he does not enjoy, he offered a picture of his wife...
